Cannot protect documents from water intrusion

The lid for this file box is a joke. There is no way to seal the important documents from bad weather and water intrusion. It needs a solid snap-on lid that protects everything inside.

I had my files in a smaller file box but this had much more room so I could access folders easily. The cover was a little tricky at first but no problem once I got the hang of it. My worry is that the plastic would break down over time. Only time will tell.
