Staples brand Carbon Paper is as good as any of the top name brands that usually cost more. We still use carbon paper daily in my office. We use quite a lot of it also. I recommend this product.
I have never used carbon paper before so I honestly cannot say if this is not a good product and it was just me expecting more however I bought the carbon paper to trace letters on painted wood so that I could have an outline to paint in. I used a fine point pen and pressed hard to be sure the carbon would transfer but I could barely see it. I switched to a medium point pen and again pressed hard as I traced but again could barely make out the black line. I gave up using the carbon paper and just outlined the letters with the pen which made a small indent in the wood visible enough to see while painting. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the whole rest of the package of carbon paper. Apparently it isn't for use on wood like I had hoped.
I haven't used this product yet but I had an issue at one of our motorsports events where I forgot to replace the ink in my printer and it was a near disaster-once you are dependent on your printer/copier and then it doesn't work it seemed like a crisis. I was thinking ahead when I purchased this carbon paper to once again when I forget to have my printer ready-so this way I can make my forms a little easier if disaster strikes. I looked at a few stores for carbon paper and could never find it-I thought maybe it wasn't made anymore-then I just happened to be in staples for something else and there it was!! Talk about a possible lifesaver!!
This a Is a great product...the quality is great and easy to work with. With computers today and the need for carbon paper I was very happy to be able to get this product. It was easy to find . Thank you
This is the third time that I have bought this product from staples. I like the consistent quality of the product. It seems to be the same from the top of the page to the bottom of the page. It's also consistent from the first page in the pack to the last page. I have been happy with the selection that staples carries.
Sometimes carbon paper is very hard to find these days but Staples has it. I use it in my law practice to rub over the raised portions of corporate and notary seals so that when the document is scanned or copied the seal becomes visible.
