Pulled the paint off of my walls

I used these hooks for putting up holiday decorations. They were removed according to instructions about 10-14 days after they were put up. I removed the strips according to the direction and 2/ 6 strips pulled the paint right off of the wall
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best multipurpose tool ever!

I have used these products for a multitude of things, holiday decorations, blanket forts, organizing hairbrushes, kitchen organization, and hanging pictures. This is probably the best product I have ever used. Thank you!

ripped the paint off my wall

The hooks held up well, but when I pulled the tabs down to remove them one pulled a quarter sized chunk of paint off the wall and another one of the the tabs snapped off so the only way to get it off was to damage the paint. Now I have 2 quarter sized chunks of paint missing from my wall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not happy

I have been using the old standard hooks with white backing for years with great sucess. There have been several problems with the clear tapes and hooks. First, it doesn' t seem like the sticky part goes all the way up to the top of the plastic back on the hook. This is where they always pull away from the wall and fall off. I carefully prep and follow the instructions with the same results on ceramic tile, smooth painted walls and varnished wood surfaces. Maybe I got a bad batch! Second, when used on a window ledge, it removed the polyvinyl (varnish) from the wood! I refinished the wood over a year ago! Not happy.

Failure

Bought the .5# small clear hooks and stored at room temp in a dust free container about 2 yrs ago.
Used a few at time of purchase and now trying to use some I had left and the adhesive strips now fail immediately!
Won't be buying again as the shelf life is non existent.
