No Bleed Thru QUICK DRY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these markers free as part of a promotional through Stellar Panel. These are actually pretty nice markers as far as markers go. I can leave the cap off for extended periods of time without them drying out which is useful when I’m doing large projects. To test the markers sharp side the first thing I used the marker on was to jot down a note to myself in a notebook. As soon as the marker hit the paper I noticed that there was no “spread” so the letters were nice and discernible. Secondly it did not bleed through to the page beneath so that was also nice. I do have a light hand though so if your hand is a bit heavier (as far as writing goes) it may bleed through. Next I also used the marker to write the names of each of my 3 dogs on some new plastic dog bowls I purchased using the broad side of the marker. There was minimal drying time and I didn’t notice any “pooling” where the marker is lifted at the conclusion of a letter. Typically this “pooling” area is where it would take the longest to dry and because there was no pooling the marker ink stayed put without smearing. This is almost impossible when writing on plastic with a permanent marker so I was kind of impressed with that. I will say that unless you’re planning on sharing this pack of 36 (or you happen to use permanent markers a lot) you’re going to have markers for the rest of your life. I use them for almost everything from writing on xmas gifts to making bold notes for myself and my family and everything in-between so this pack may last me one or two years. I do not have any comments for price point versus quality but would recommend the product to my co-workers or anyone else for that matter.

Great Permanent Markers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While at first glance the Staples Duramark Permanent Markers were not what I thought permanent markers "should" look like by the time I put it through it's paces these markers won me over. These are great workhorse markers and the design continued to impress me the longer that I used them. Due to the structure of the cap and the base this marker can confidently be placed either upright or upside down without the marker falling or tipping over. My favorite part of the marker is that the cap can also be snuggly placed into the base of the marker (making it look a little like a rocket to me 😆) which means that you don't have to worry about losing the cap. The strong durability of the entire marker also means that it would take a lot to break any part of it. Once I figured out the ultra fine tip (you have to write with it "backwards" at least the way I would think to write with a marker like this) I did see a definite differentiation in size between the three tips. Even so I will probably write with the fine or the chisel tip the most. Speaking of the chisel tip I LOVE it. It is so easy to get a big bold black line with it something that you can only get with markers that have angular tips like these do. Honestly the ink looks pretty bold however you choose to write with it which is great for labeling. The markers also wrote equally as well on multiple different surfaces paper plastic and cardboard. When it comes to permanent markers I mostly use them for labeling things boxes bags etc so these worked great for all of the mediums that I need to use them on. Unfortunately as with all permanent markers there is that permanent marker smell that accompanies it but it wasn't too bad. I didn't really notice it until the marker was pretty close to my face and I am someone that is pretty sensitive to odors. Overall I would give these markers a 10/10. Highly recommend. They have earned a permanent place in my office that's for sure!

Quality marker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed these markers more than I expected! They did a great job staying on very smooth metal services… I used them to label bottles of saline spray which are very smooth and have no texture and weeks later there is no smudging or fading. They also write well on porous surfaces like paper without too much drag which means their tips are all still in good shape. The all red bodies of these pens make it easy to know what I’m grabbing from the marker bucket which is also a plus! This was a fairly larger pack than I’d typically buy so I can’t say how these markers will work in a few months once I’m at the end of the pack but I’ve been very pleased with their performance so far.

Non smearing marker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These markers are pretty great! They do not smear at all (which is a problem I’ve had with other brands). The ink quality is top notch and the ultra fine tip makes writing in small fonts a breeze. I will definitely never run out of these since they come in a 12 pack. I use these every day to write in my 5 year one-line-a- day journal as well as those of my 2 kids. I wanted something that wouldn’t leave an imprint through the page so markers with an ultra fine tip was a perfect option. They are wonderful for writing in a small space and don’t smear. I do have to be careful and not write too hard or the color will seep through the page.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found these pens to be middle of the row just ok. The fine tip is super fine but it seems to run out of ink quickly. These pens might be good for light writing like check marks but not for writing notes or other more lengthy comments.

The box comes with plenty of pens and I’ve been using them for note-taking and schedule planning. I will definitely continue to use them!

Great versatile markers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these markers! Being ultra-fine tip but also permanent is SO handy for me because it means I can write more in a smaller spot. I use them for labeling homemade baby food containers which often include multiple ingredients in a small container so it’s really helpful to be able to write smaller than with a standard tip permanent marker. The ink quality is great and there are never any skips or light spots. Having 12 of them in a pack is helpful because I am always losing pens and markers and this allows me to keep multiple markers in several places in the house and keep at least one in my purse and car. In addition to making baby food they are also really helpful for creating a bolder font on our weekly family schedule making it easier for all to read. They’re truly the perfect blend of a pen and a marker. Highly recommend!

LOVE this pen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive always loved a permanent marker but most are too thick. This pen was marker quality but in pen form and I absolutely loved it! I found myself continuously reaching for this pen. It has a good tip- ultra fine but bold enough to stand out. The ink quality was also very good- I used it multiple times a day and the ink never ran out. The quantity in the box was plentiful! One doesnt need some many red pens so I put some away for future use. The amount sold would be good for an office setting. I would have liked a multi color pack of these; this marker did not bleed into the paper and I could see myself using it on a regular basis as my everyday pen! I used these markers in various ways: to write important dates on my family calendar on food labels for the the freezer to edit some papers and I even liked the pen so much I used it to take notes! These type of markers usually have a lingering smell that gives me a headache and Im happy to say there was no smell after use! A big win for my sensitive nose. Overall I was highly impressed and likely to buy repeatedly.
