The first one we received was banged up by the shippers but Staples jumped on the return and sent us a replacement right away. The drawer hardware is a little wiggly but light and easy to open and close. One bonus is that the unit has a closed bottom so it can slide on carpet when not completely full. It locks but the metal is thin so anyone with a half-decent lever could bend it open. Still it holds all the files from my old four-drawer stand up cabinet and is much less imposing. Its low wide profile holds the printer and fits in better to my office decor. For medium-duty or home office you can't beat the price.
The cabinet metal is thin and a little flimsy. The first one I received was severely damaged Staples provided me with a replacement right away. The second one has a little dent on the top but it's still functional. Realistically shipping a metal cabinet in a cardboard box is not likely to arrive in perfect condition. I chose this cabinet because both drawers lock vs. the nicer looking wood cabinets.
