Came out the box with a corner damaged not any corner the corner closest to the lock. Door was stuck closed and it was a pain to open. I had to hit it with something heavy and it is not working fine. I decided to keep it to avoid the hassle of bringing it back up from my basement drive back to the store and get another one too heavy. Would I recommend it? Maybe.

There was some issue trying to get the bars that hold the files in the right place. The mechanism that doesn't allow both drawers to be pulled out at the same time caused the bottom drawer not to be easily pulled out to get the bar from the back slot to the front slot. My suggestion would be to put the bars in for letter size files as the default. The way it is set up it will not initially hold any kind of file since both bars are in the back two slots.

I really like this Staples 2-Drawer light duty lateral file cabinet. It works well and is exactly what I needed. Probably need more in the future. Ordering online and having it available at the store front when I got there was wonderful. The gentleman helped me load it in my car. The whole experience rates a 10. Thank you! Dawn
