Given I bought floor model on clearance it has some hiccups but overall not bad. Expect a regularly-stocked model of the same item would probably be pretty good (probably four stars)!

The railings on the interior of the drawers do not fit properly causing them to dislodge from the side causing the hanging folders to fall. It is also not convertible to legal size.

If you are handy it is a good buy. One of the cabinet doors did not open. The directions did not include any recommendations of what to do. My husband was able to fix the mechanism so we could open and lock the cabinet. This flaw is mentioned in a lot of the reviews. If you can not fix it yourself then do not purchase it. It is too bulky to return it to the store.

Previous file cabinet (30 years old) was of much higher quality. This is an inferior product. Drawers do not stay closed; there is no catching device. No dividers to keep letter size files in place. Not pleased at all. Metal is thin.

It's smaller than a usual horizontal file it looks nice. The only complaint I have is that it tips easily it needs to be weighted in back so that possible tipping isn't an issue.
