Not all of the book rings were functional—meaning that not all of them were created properly. A good number of them wouldn’t even connect with the teeth on the other half-ring along with some that didn’t have enough tension to stay closed when they were shut.

These rings are exactly what I needed to rehang my freshly laundered austrian curtains. No one else was carrying anything that would gather the rings on the back of the curtains!

I wanted something very inexpensive to bind together various bank brokerage statements etc. so I bought these binders and punched holes in the documents to bind them. Unfortunately the binders were really tight and hard to close and proved to be more trouble that they were worth. My wife finally just put a big clip on the pages and that worked fine without punching any holes either!
