Did the job but was difficult to open.

I bought these to hold together flashcards made out of index cards with a hole punched through them. The students (5th and 6th graders) and I both had a difficult time opening the rings to insert the flash cards. Once we did get them open they closed easily and seem to stay closed. I probably would try another type of ring the next time I do this with my class.

"Book" Rings

I used this product to put together laminated booklets containing Christmas Carols. We used these for an Alive Nativity we did four times in one day. We also gave them to people before they got on a hayride; so they pretty much took a beating getting passed out stepped on and then turned in. This happened four times! I am very pleased with the construction and packaging. In the past I have used rings that have not lined up correctly and have not held tight. These were not so. The packaging was sturdy but you could still get in it! I would buy this item again.

Great for book

My son got a textbook that wasn't bound. It was odd shaped and had only two holes punched so a traditional 3-ring binder wouldn't work. When I started to look what to use I saw these and thought these loose leaf binder rings should work. Got them home and they solved the problem.

I was a little disappointed because several rings in my packages a) would not close all of the way or b) were a little difficult to open and close.
