Strong Hold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] easy to use. strong hold. thin and strong, very convenient to hang pictures, double sided sticky, very easy to apply. Not bulky and lets pictures hang flush. Can be used for many other things. Does not come off the wall with humidity in the bathroom.

Does hold well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of Scotch-Mount™ Extreme Double-Sided Mounting Tape to try and review. This mounting tape really works. We tried it on equipment hooks in the garage and they are still holding. It is easy to cut to the size needed and does not curl up at the corners.

Amazing double-sided tape

Make sure positioning is correct the 1st time.
As you cannot remove once stuck. Used it to fix a multitude of things on my car already this tape is indispensable! Not quite permanent, but not far off! Extremely strong and durable adhesive, but easy to cut and the backing isn't difficult to remove

Strong and Flexible Tape

The tape handles both indoor and outdoor jobs, and works SO well. 3M mailed me this to test out, and Im so grateful. This tape is super flexible, and holds high weight. It's great to stick things to my walls inside, and holds door decorations outside!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great on my rugs. My dog literally does hard take offs on the area rugs and thus product holds them down real well. The only negative is getting the backing tape off after cutting the size needed, would be nice if there was a tab option.

Durable and strong!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty excited to use Scotch-Mount Extreme Double-Sided Mounting Tape. I didn't know such a thing excited outside of regular double-sided tape which is great for simple paper or photo projects like scrapbooking. This extreme version was awesome to use for hanging decorations, signs, frames, and other artwork on my walls without having to use a nail or pushpin. It also did not leave any residue and I am happy to also report nothing has fallen off my walls from use. :)

Good for light things you don't intend on moving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from the 3M company to evaluate. While the double-sided tape seems to hold for the brief time I was given to evaluate this product, it does leave a black residue behind if you try to remove it. It might be better if it was clear so the residue wasn't as obvious and you could use this on things that are see-through so you don't see the black. I did try this on some drywall and after a couple of days decided to try to remove it. I used a piece of plastic to help me pry the small piece off the wall. I was able to remove it without damaging the drywall but it did leave a black residue on the wall which I then had to clean off. I am also not sure if I would trust it to hold anything really heavy. It might be good to hang up signs and things that are lightweight that you don't intend on moving.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ready to hang out of the pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time I've even seen this product. I was surprised that once I removed it from the package I noticed it's very tacky. The inside of the roll is ready to be cut and stuck to a surface. You only have to peel off the top layer. I did notice that the surface has to be smooth. So this won't work on wallpapered surfaces or possibly textured walls. I plan to use it in my work shop to hang up items. I liked that it's easy to peel and cut. You may want to try a small strip of tape on a test area to make sure it will adhere without causing cosmetic damage. I was sent a free sample for reviewing and testing purposes. All opinions are my own.
