Design requires separating sections at perforations. Not all perforations went through enough to tear accurately so the box would not fold properly. Use scissors or box cutter to cut accurately for best set up.

economy storage boxes quality down

I have always loved these boxes-the size is perfect for office storage and transfer. I also use them at home for transfers and storage. I can fill them and still lift/carry-and you can stack 8-10 of them in a small footprint. This past 6 months-I have seen a decline in quality-the perforations are so poorly done-you need to use a sharp tool to rescore-or they will rip when you try to assemble them. I am a retired banker and have used 1000's of them-so I can assemble them in my sleep-but now I need to have a knife to do so.

Boxes as aids

Boxes are used for storage and neatness. These boxes are all right but the previous type of boxes that I have purchased at Staples were easier to put together--separation of areas were more easily accomplished.

We needed to buy some sturdy boxes for moving files. We purchased these. All I really have to say is that the price is out of this world. You could almost buy reuseable plastic totes for the same price...
