Pro: Price. The economy pack provides reasonably sturdy boxes at a very reasonable price. Mixed: The white color is nice but shows dirt and scuffs easier than unfinished cardboard The white surface does allow for clear and clean labeling of contents. Con: The peforations are not all perforated completely. Attempting to separate along perforations can result in tears unless you use a box cutter to cut through them (and who has a box cutter close at hand when sitting down to assemble something that claims to be ready to assemble?)
I`ve used this product many times for my Real Estate permanent files and now once again for moving. Excellent product that holds up well and is the proper size for me and others to handle.
For the price these storage boxes are definitely worth it. They easily hold folder files (not legal size though). They are sturdy and can support a full box of paper work. The assembly of the boxes are easy if you follow the directions. Only con would be that the perforations for detaching prior to assembling is somewhat weak and you can tear part of the box or lid if you are not careful. Also I am not sure how well they will hold up if full boxes are stacked on top of each other for a long period of time.
These were the perfect size to move books and papers to a new location. They are perfect since they have built in handles and lids. I was able to put just the right amount of items in and not make it too heavy to carry up stairs. I also used them to move a lot of other items as well as use as storage boxes.
It came later than I expected. The local store Ames Iowa would not honor the monthly special I had to call the 800 # to get the sale price. A little more trouble than expected.
I bought these as they were a little less expensive than the brand name bankers boxes but found that I had to use scissors to finish the perforations required to detach the cover and and prepare the side panels. The boxes seem sturdy but this extra step was a bit frustrating.
