Bad issue with tear off lid

The box was good but when your tear off the lid every lid ripped right across and needed to be tape back together. This was very inconvenient. Other name brand boxes do not have this issue.

I have used these for years and thought they were the same as always but these specific boxes appear to be a bit more fragile. I use the boxes for legal files. While thye seem to be holding up just fine for now they don't seem as solid once filled.
