The boxes are okay; however the part where you have to separate the top from the rest of the box during the assembly process .. is difficult doesn't easily come apart at the perforated lines. For my purposes they were inexpensive and worked for me.
My wife and I were faced with boxing up a large inherited private library which we planned to donate to a nearby public library. We made several purchases of these boxes and have used over seventy of them. They are strong stack well and can be handled easily.
Ecstatic is the only word that comes to mind. I mean these basic duty corrugated boxes were actually capable of holding letter size or legal size documents. Did I mention they were corrugated? And they actually had slots on the sides to grab the boxes. Most surprising was that each box had a matching cover. I worked in offices for about sixty years and have seen thousands of file boxes. These boxes look like all the rest but nobody ever asked me to rate file boxes before so this has been a highly emotional experience. Thank God they didn’t ask me to rate the ream of letter size paper I got last month.
Boxes do not separate easily from the lids One can get very easily cut badly from the way you have to put these together will never buy them again. Much too expensive
I have ordered this model storage box for years Have always worked well. This time each box was very difficult to tear along the perforations because the "perforation depth" was not as deep as usual. Therefore had a number of unsightly surface paper tears. PLs give feedback to the manufacturer to check their perforation jig more often. Thanks.
These boxes are the best! I just moved so I needed some boxes that could hold heavy things but weren’t bulky and these fit the bill perfectly. The design is ingenious. They’re just like the Banker’s Box brand but less expensive so I couldn’t be happier.
