Cabinet functions OK so far; delivery person brought item into entrance of home and placed it upside down! Unit had a shallow dent in left side approx. 14" long.

Very sturdy lateral file cabinet

If you have found most lateral multi-drawer file cabinets drawers flimsy especially when fully loaded with files and papers this cabinet is for you! The drawers are sturdy and firm. They slide easily in and out and do not feel fragile at all. We replaced one of those "flimsy" cabinets when a couple of the drawers could not handle the weight of the paper. This cabinet is much better and I expect it to last for years!
