No iron fabric labels

Love these work get I work in a nursing home I have very little lost and found any more.only problem is in having a hard time finding them in town

nursing home use was good

I bought these labels for my husband in a nursing home. Now I need to remove them so I can donate his clothing. I can remove the labels but the glue stays on the fabric. Is there anything I can do to remove the glue after the label has been pulled off?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for review. I used them on my children's clothing mainly pajamas that go over to their cousin's house and tend to get lost very easily. I forgot to re-read the directions when I received the labels. On my first attempt I didn't wait the 24 hours before washing and allowing the labels to set. But after I read the directions again I realized I needed to let it set so I let it sit for two nights before I wash the pajamas and after that the labels stayed put & looked good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got these labels and i put one on my work apron and washed my apron and the label stayed in place then i put a label on my sweatshirt and washed and dried my shirt and the label stayed in place these labels work like the package says

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve put them through the test and they work. The permanent marker stays on them when washed and they actually stay stuck on the clothes. I got them for my kids Jiu Jitzu uniforms because they are the same size. After trying on a cheap sweatshirt I will be using them normally. Very happy with these. Avery products are great.

Wow great for the whole family

Love that it's so easy to use all you have to do is write, peel, stick & press. We use them on just about everything. I use it on my son's clothes & sporting gear and my daughter's band bags & gear. I did not realize all the things I would need to label. This is wonderful for you kids going to college. I recommend it for more than just clothes and they wash great too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these labels on my husband's work clothes and they are great. His company uses a service for laundry and everything must be labeled. They are so easy to apply, and they don't need to be ironed, which is good because I don't even own an iron anymore. They really stay put, even after being washed and dried over and over. They are easy to write on too. They would be great for so many things, like backpacks for my kids when they go back to school.

Labels do not stay on.

I ran across Avery Fabric Labels about a month ago while looking for a different Avery product. I thought they were a great idea so I bought a package. I applied them to my underwear (some cotton, some polyester) according to the package instructions. (In case it matters, we do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets).
about a week later, the labels began coming off the clothing when I was wearing it. I'd find it stuck to my back or butt when I undressed at bedtime. I finally resorted to sewing on the labels after sticking them on. Not enough time has passed to see how that will work.
