I purchased the Letter size Staples Thermal Laminating Pouches. I was very impressed with the quality of the finished product. The material I laminated came out clear with sharp color and no wrinkles or bubbles. I also purchased the business size pouches and was just as pleased. I used this product with a 3M thermal laminating machine. The price was also more reasonable than other pouches after comparison shopping. I highly recommend the Staples laminating pouches. They are also easy to cut to trim if necessary.

My first time laminating

It was my first time using a laminator so there was definitely a learning curve. By the third try it worked perfectly and I haven't had any issues since. Nice product and very affordable for my needs.

Average quality doesn't laminate fully

Using a Royal lamination machine these sheets produce adequate results. There are some bubbles and opaque areas where it does not seal completely. The resulting lamination is not very strong and tears easily. I would recommend the 5mil sheets for any hard usage.

I like to keep organized and laminate my sons cute school work and also just little things that I dont want ruined and paper holiday decorations and things like that. Overally these pouches work the same as the Fellowers brand. I am happy the 3MIL are thin but good.

DO NOT BUY this product if...

Ordering 677045 will NOT get you the item pictured. Instead you will receive the pouches WITHOUT the CARRIER. If your older laminator (Staples model # 14346) requires a carrier to hold the pouches and protect them from the hot laminating process than DO NOT order this product. Using this product in the older type machine will more than likely ruin your laminator. I have been complaining that the product pictured is NOT what they ship out to you. I have received the item in a different looking package one that does not include a carrier in it and shows a different # on the lower right side of the package (#17467). Staples needs to update the website and show the correct graphic/picture of the item. My packing slip shows the ITEM # as being 677045 BUT in the description it also mentions a MODEL # as 17467 and this is the only number showing on the item received. It has no mention of 677045 as it shows in the picture and I have purchased this from the store (if they stock it). SO if you need a carrier for an older machine/laminator (I purchased mine in August 2008) then you will have to look into GBC brand. Staples brand DOES NOT have the carriers anymore. Basically my 16 month old machine is now worthless?? I will be going to another brand now.
