I'm a little late to reply to your Q but maybe it will help others with the same question.....5 mil is the "better" thicker thickness level especially for a teacher creating materials for school it will last forever & is not able to be torn or ruined if it gets wet!! 3 mil is cheaper & thinner & does not hold up as well long term 3 mil is easily vended but 5 mil is not.I'm a little late to reply to your Q but maybe it will help others with the same question.....5 mil is the "better" thicker thickness level especially for a teacher creating materials for school it will last forever & is not able to be torn or ruined if it gets wet!! 3 mil is cheaper & thinner & does not hold up as well long term 3 mil is easily vended but 5 mil is not.
