Poor Printing Performance

These cards WILL NOT go through my printer, no matter how I set it up. Avery says they have SURE FEED Technology, but they jam my HP every time I try to use them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The card template is not effective. The top two cards print too high on the card and the bottom two cards print too low on the card. Have to run the sheet through 2 or 3 times adjusting the alignment and selecting only certain rows to print. Not worth the effort.

We're sorry to hear that! As an alternative we would recommend one of our Clean Edge business cards so that you can avoid the textured edges of a perforated card. Our Clean Edge cards will have a smooth cut at the edges. For example, product 8871 would be a good start for another card with the same dimensions and color as this one.

The Avery software template for the 8371 Business Cards works great! I had to create personal business cards when I was laid off and they have been very helpful getting information out about me and my skills.

Use to love this product but not any more

This was such a great product, easy to use templates. But now they are just a waste of your money. Cards do not line up anymore when printing. I use the front and back of the cards for my business. When i try and print business cards now. I may only get you use 4 cards out of every sheet of 10. So, what should come out to 100 cards is only giving me 40 usable cards, and 60 that I have to throw away. Avery was great for one to do it your self, but with the amount you waste you are better off just going to a print shop and letting them make you cards. You WILL get what you pay for with them. Below I have added picture so you can see what I am talking about. The front has images shifting over, so first card is place on sheet properly and the next will be slightly over, and the next until the is cut off. On the back of the cards is where all my business info is. The info keeps getting moved over just like the front image. So, the number is cut off and this keep progressing until the last 3 numbers are cut off. No good at all. How will people contact me if they cannot even see the full phone number.

Hello, thank you for your review, and I am sorry to hear about this issue with your printing alignment. When you print, we do advise to check the printer settings. In preview and print, go to Get PDF to print and Open the PDF. The Page Size should be Letter and the Scale 100%. On your printer, I would also advise to change the Paper/Media type to Cardstock or Heavyweight, as this product is 216 gsm. If this does not work for you, I would advise contacting our Care Center for a possible replacement of refund for this issue. I used these to make a business card for my boyfriend. They worked great. It's so easy. Avery provides lots of templates to use, but you can also very easily find other free business card designs online. The perforations are good quality, making it easy to tear the cards out (without ripping your precious cards). I've used these for other projects, as well, including making membership cards for my local swing dancing association. Avery's website also gave great ideas for uses, like place cards for wedding guests at the reception or place a hole punch through along with a nice ribbon to serve as a To: From: label for a homemade gift. Great stuff.
