The picture showed a "textured" look but when I got it home it was a plain flat outer finish.

This is a lightweight file cabinet that is not fire proof water proof or theft resistant. Its job is to organize our store receipt owners manuals etc and it does that very well. It doesn’t weigh much so can be moved easily. Drawers slide easily even when full of papers. Very happy with inexpensive organizer
