Product says it is "charcoal" typically a dark grey color. But when I got home and opened the box I find it to be a very light grey color. Due to time constraints and it being the last unit at the store I chose to keep it and paint it myself. I will always being opening the boxes at the store from this time forward. Other than color - the drawers slide very nicely. Not disappointed in the quality.

It's exactly as advertised. Except for the pleasant surprise that the lock locks both drawers. It isn't the old fashioned sturdy file cabinet but I didn't expect that for this price.
