It was an inexpensive cabinet that we just needed temporarily. We knew it wasn’t made the best but what surprised me once we got it home was that even though the drawers are about 18 inches deep there is really only 12” of useable space for each drawer. This is due to the fact the drawers only pull out 12” which if you use the entire drawer you will not be able reach back to the last 6” of folders which are in the “void” space. I am guessing this is so the cabinet will not tip over if you open it all the way. If you want to stick something back there that aren’t folders you might find a way to use the back space but we bought it for file folders not for storage.

As soon as we put files in the drawers they came out of the tracks Drawers wont open Don't waste your time on this.
