I purchased this unit to house my mother's financial records and my own investment quarterly statements. It is fine for this purpose. It fits nicely under the desk / table and is large enough to store many files. Care must be taken to prevent both drawers from opening at the same time or the unit will tend to fall forward. In other words it is not the heaviest sturdiest-made file cabinet I could have purchased but it is fine for my purposes and the price was right. I like it.

Very thin metal. When delivered I thought the box was empty it was so light. Surprised it wasn't damaged there was so little packing protection material. That said now that it is filled and functioning it is fine. Not a work horse that you can grab and yank open or slam shut. But for a small business or home use it is adequate. Since I got it with a sale price and used rewards I didn't pay a lot for it. Sure wouldn't pay the regular full price for it.

This is a file cabinet that's great for home use. I don't think it would do for office or heavy duty. I like for the price and what I bought it for.

the color is fine-but the metal is flimsy-i actually almost dented it by pulling it by the top of the drawer instead of the handle.but it should be alittle more durable/stronger than that.even though there is a lock on it-i am using it for home purposes-i am not sure the lock will hold out-if you pull at the drawer it bends easily.
