The drawers don’t pull out all the way to allow for easy access of files in the back; and the drawers can’t be removed which is disappointing because I wanted to paint them

Flimsy construction - metal is too thin.

A good buy for the price. I can't really complain because the cabinet will only be in use for historical research. I purchased a roller frame with castors and added a handle in the front at the top for flexibility -works very well.
The product was as I expected and is doing the job for which I intended. Many years ago I purchased two of the same. As is the case with inflation this one is about 1/4" smaller of lesser quality and cost me 2-1/2 times one of the older ones. This is not to complain just to state the facts as they are in 2022. If you're looking for a light serviceable cabinet this will do the job.

I purchased this for my brother in a nursing home to be able to lock some of his personal items. It fit the space we needed. I would not purchase for file storage because it is too light weight. I also would never get the color for myself.
