Cabinet was easy to assemble just attach the handles. It locks securely and fits perfectly in my small space.

Inexpensive but damaged

I couldn't resist the reduced price of this file cabinet but I was disappointed once it was out of the box to find that it was dented on both sides. Fortunately both drawers still opened so I didn't return it. The only other feature that I was a bit disappointed in was that the raised sides of the drawers (to allow for hanging files) we of a dimension that made the hanging files very tight from side to side. Again though for the purpose I purchased it it meets the need.

Economical cabinet with wasted space

For a file cabinet under $60 it's a good buy. The files just have to loose since the back of the drawer is inaccessible -- hanging folders are a must.

This file cabinet is fine for the price. It is moderately sturdy and the drawers work smoothly as does the lock. It certainly is not anywhere as sturdy and well-made as file cabinets made by a company like Steelcase. It would not hold up well in any fire and could be forced open even if locked. So it works for keeping files that one does not want to secure well.
