I was very surprised at how soon they arrived. The quality of the product was less than i had expected of Staples products but they were usable.

This is perfect for the small office. Bought 2 cabinets for the price of one! The only bad point is the plastic drawer handles that seem to be made cheaply and take away from a professional look to the cabinet.

I'd only recommend this for an occasional home user. The construction is just OK with rather lightweight metal and plastic non-roller slides and the lock could be easily forced. Of course for 35 bucks (sale) it's a decent value. The biggest issue is that the drawers' pull out stops leave about 5 inches of file space still inside the cabinet so with a full drawer the only way to access files back there would be to remove about 5 inches worth up front slide the files forward then put things back when done. Also note that if you don't have files equally distributed between the top and bottom drawers the cabinet will tip forward when the loaded drawer is pulled out.

Crooked and Flimsy

I bought this filing cabinet because we needed something to store receipts tax information and other basic filing at home- so pretty much very light duty. I got it out of the box and right away I noticed that the drawers were not lined up with each other. I tried attaching the handles and they were very difficult to attach since the thread count of the provided screws did not seem to match the thread count of the handles. The metal in the bottom of the drawers hardly seemed thicker than the metal in a soda can and I can't imagine even hanging empty file folders in this! This is going back to the store today and I will keep looking for something to meet my filing needs.
