Inexpensive Filing Cabinet

You get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive filing cabinet that serves its intended purpose in my case. It's a very dull gray but it sure looks nice after I spray painted it. ;)

Arrived without damage and required only drawer pulls to be attached. That proved more difficult than I expected but I'm not sure if it was the predrilled holes poor quality screws or my screwdriver. I felt like I was close to stripping the screws so it was a relief to get that done. It's a nice basic cabinet though and I love that I didn't need to add a frame.

This filing cabinet is sufficient for home use but not for frequent opening and closing. It is rather flimsy and weak. It takes very little to dent it or distort it. For the sale price it was a good buy for the money. Were I to pay the standard price it would be way too much.

The unit is sturdy solid and large in capacity. The drawers also slide smoothly which is not always the case. I love the color and it is not cheaply made.

Very flimsy have only filed approx. 6 folders (lightweight) and it would "sag" when the top drawer is opened half way. Ridiculous! They should just have this item recalled.
