The cabinet is not heavy but very steady when you open and close it. Also the drawers move in and out very smoothly and quiet. The drawer depth is perfect for the maximum amount of files that I needed it for. Excellent quality for a very good price! Cheaply manufactured

I bought two of these file cabinets at once; upon opening them up I was quite disappointed in their quality. I did not bang or drop or hit the filing cabinet at all and as I was screwing on the handle and attempted to close the drawer it was sticking; after much looking and wondering why it was not closing I finally lifted the cabinet only to find that a rim had bent upwards and as a result the drawer would not close as it should! I was able to take my thumb and bend the rim back down and voila the drawer closed. So I'm a little disappointed.

I have purchased more that a few file cabinets like this over the last few years and because of price not at Staples. When I saw this on sale I grabbed the only two they had. This was a one time special purchase from Staples. I wish they would offer this price point everyday.

Files are required to be in a controlled and safe place. This file cabinet fits in the easy to get to space. Easy to stack when more files are needed. Will purchase more as more files become available in the future. I recommend this product to anyone that needs more file space.

I purchased this file cabinet and the bottom drawer would constantly fall off track. Even without ANYTHING in it. I actually wanted to return it but I could not find my receipt. We bought 2 at the time. One of them works fine (my coworkers has that one). I think mine was just faulty.
