All-around great for the price especially on sale. Bought these particularly because they're just a little bit shorter than heavier-duty ones so they slide right under our built-in work counters

18" deep two drawer file cabinet

This cabinet is an excellent item at a great price. The drawers open and close smoothly and their design negate the need for hanging file frames. The baked on finish is attractive and durable. The locking mechanism is pretty basic and could easily be defeated. All in all however even the most complex bank vault door is not completely impregnable and the lock does what it is intended to do to keep honest people out. I am impressed with the overall performance of this cabinet and I would recommend it to anyone who is in the market for such a piece of office equipment.

I am using this for bin storage and not files. The cabinet is very thin and flimsy. I would expect a sturdier cabinet for the money.

Shipping was great arrived undamaged. Perfect for storing personal documents etc. The lock works well. The only aesthetic issue is the handles are cheap plastic that warps/changes color as your screw them into the drawers. This makes the appearance look less "nice" than it otherwise would. Still gets the job done and a good deal for the price.

Every time I pull on the handle to open drawer the drawer bends... don't even have it full. Not enough substance to keep cabinet upright. If you only have items in top drawer and open it it will topple over.

a lock for both drawers would be better

Not bad for the price lock does not work correctly can still pull drawers out a little and could be forced opened.
