Great home office file cabinet

This file cabinet is just the right size for our home office to file bills and important paperwork. The drawers glide so nicely with all the files I put in it. Very durable.

No Better File Cabinet at This Price Point

The metal on these is adequate. As I was affixing the handles I saw that they are a potential weak spot and I went right out and bought washers. I highly recommend you use washers to help prevent the handles from pulling out of the metal. Also they are cheap but adequate so just get in the habit of using gentle movements to open & close the drawers and I think they will last a long time. It is true that the drawers don't have rollers but they slide very smoothly. I personally went to the brick and mortar store to see if the $100 model would have rollers and it does not! So you could spend a lot more money and get drawers with the exact same mechanism. It's true that the drawers don't pull out all the way. You just have to plan and put less-used files in the back like last year's taxes or medical records. I was glad to get file cabinets I didn't have to assemble for quite a low price. I like the 2 drawer style because I can handle the boxes move them etc. plus you can put stuff on the top surface.
