Great All Around Tape

Basic Perfection - Old Faithful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I - like many of us DIYer's - have more than one Tape Measure. In fact - I think that at last count I had 5. They just seem to be one of those things that you just end up with a few of over the years. Whether I've received them as stocking stuffers, "here - I have an extra's", or impulse buys - they've added up over the years.
Some promise this or that, are brightly colored, or have new-fangled features - but none compare to my Stanley 25 ft. PowerLock. It is ALWAYS my go-to Tape Measure and has NEVER failed me. I've lost it, dropped it, kicked it and (maybe a few times) abused it - I know it's not a hammer, but... - it continues to deliver. Still stretches out to 7'+ for those long reaches; still retracts perfectly; still has a nice tight clip and holds on when I hang it from my belt.
Tape Measures are more than just a tool, they're a carpenters right hand man - and mine is certainly that and more. Thank you for making a rugged, dependable and simple but perfect tool that as helped me for many years, and - I am confident - will continue to do so for many years to come.
