[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned a few tape measures before I bought these and have been through a few. By far the best tape I've used Stanley tapes are reliable, durable and cheap enough I don't cry if I break one or someone walks off with it. *Union proud sister of the brotherhood

The only one worth buying or using!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased or somehow 'borrowed' dozens of tape measures over the decades, but the only ones I still have are Stanley made. These are accurate, function well and they last.
I hope the new China made tools remain up to Stanley quality.

Tough & Easy Reading

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am working in crawl spaces, attics, and all sorts of goofy locations when wiring security and surveillance. My Stanley tape and other tools have been exposed to it all. My tape is my go to; it has been dropped from ladders and rafters 15-30' always works and in tight spaces with low light I can read it and depend on it!

A legendary tape measure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dad actually owned a 25ft Stanley tape measure, and I'm sure he bought it before I was even born (I'm 30 now). It was ever-present for years and years of home projects, smoothly gliding and measuring without issue. For my entire youth it was referred to only as "the tape measure." It has seen everything: drywall, lumber, metal, concrete, basements, garages, driveways, sheds, and bathrooms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 25' STANLEY POWERLOCK II was presented to me, by my company, probably in the late 1970's. It came with a STANLEY leather belt holster.
I'm retired now, but, I still use my POWERLOCK on DIY projects around the house. The tape measure has held up better than the leather holster, but, the holster condition is mostly cosmetic! The tape measure still retracts perfectly, and the color, numbers and markings are sharp and clear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always had these classic smooth side tapes. They’re the perfect size and aren’t covered in rubber so you can easily slide them in and out of your tool belt. you just can’t beat the classics.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used a Stanley 25' tape rule. The first one I brought when I was in 11 grade carpentry. I use that tape measure throughout high school and for serval years in my woodworking career. It stayed ture all that time until the tip broke off due to wear. I will only use Stanley because they hold up for many years.
