Will not perchase again

I have purchased similar boxes in the past with much success however this batch was a huge dissapointment. Right out of the box while putting them together (which is very easy) the metal rings were falling off to tie the ropes to to seal the boxes. We had to seal them with packing tape. I only purchased a 4 pack and will not be getting them again.

BUTTONS POP OFF

Two of the eight buttons popped off during the first closing of the boxes. The boxes have no end flaps to close just the two side flaps so they do not seem as secure as the Liberty brand bankers box which costs only $.50 more for a 4-pack.

Flimsy cheap string & button closures

I ordered the boxes to store closed/inactive files from my law office. Right out of the shipping box the buttons fell off and/or were dangling from the storage boxes. The storage boxes are very easy to assemble and sturdy but the closures that did survive the shipping simply popped off when I attempted to tie them. I'll never order these boxes again. I suggest customers save money and buy the less expensive boxes with lids. I'm extremely disappointed and have sent Staples a request for refund through customer service.

This product has pretty much been the same for the past 30 years. Always just want I need to keep old files neat and organized.
