We use ti usd liquid free and clear but when that was not available any longer hubs switched to Tide Free
Pros: Price

Why not reachable and biodegradable packaging ???

So much waste and plastic ! I don’t get why can’t tide change into more sustainable solutions !

impossible to open

Small arthritic hands. Have to find a neighbor to help me. I can't open the container. My children and grandchildren are all over 20 I don't need child safe containers > I do need a detergent free of dyes and scents.
Because of this issue I won't be buying tide again. My store is rural and has a very small selection of detergents. I will try Arm and Hammer again

Gooey, stained laundry

I have used the regular Tide product for a long time, but this porduct one left stains, and sticky residue on the clothes.
There was only a few items in the washer, 3 to be exact, all stained and gooey.
The pod was put in the washer before the clothes were added.
We have had to clean each item by hand to get out the goo and stains.
I would NOT recommend this item to anyone!!

The residue can be a result of not having enough clothing for your dosage. We don't recommend using a single pod for three pieces of clothing, as one pod is enough for a small load. Pod Doesn't Dissolve All The Way

I switched to these pods from liquid and a few times now the pod hasn't dissolved all the way. It gets stuck on the clothes and leaves a yellow mark when I take the goo off. I see that Tide doesn't recommend these for anything less than a "small" load, The three times they didn't dissolve was for medium sized loads. Also, what's the point of these if I can't just wash a couple of items of clothing anyways. I'm not happy with this product. I'm going back to liquid.

The residue can sometimes be a result of overloading your washer. We recommend adding the pod to the back of the washer before any clothing, and ensuring not to overload your washer to allow enough room to move around and dissolve.
The best way to remove any residue is to soak your clothes overnight in water, and then re-wash your clothes with no detergent. We'd like the opportunity to learn more, and would appreciate you giving us a call at (800) 879-8433.

Tried with a small load. I might as well washed in lain water that’s how effective this pac was. Now I’m stuck with a container of pacs I won’t use.

Tide is designed to provide exceptional cleaning and we're sorry to hear this. Some tips to get the best results with your Tide PODS are: to use the recommended amount of detergent for average water hardness, a little more in very hard water, a little less in very soft water. Also, sort clothes by color and fabrics so that you can use the hottest water that is safe for the fabrics, and use the correct was cycle for the types of fabrics you are washing together. If you notice stains before washing, try pre-treating them. This should help give you the results you're looking for.

Pod container too hard to open

The store where I normally shop for detergent didn't have a small jug of the liquid free and gentle, so I bought what I thought was a small container of the pods, only to find it takes a bigger and stronger hand to open, to hold both tabs down and turn at the same. At least I can return it to the store. I'll go back to the liquid and all the plastic, so I can at least open it.

Horrible Allergic Reaction

This products broke me out in horrible hives with pain and swelling for over 6 weeks now. It took a little while to figure out it was the detergent because it’s labeled hypoallergenic but now it’s very clear. I’ve learned there is no such thing as hypoallergenic. It may be free from the most common allergens but proceed with caution. I’ve been to multiple doctors and am on 9-10 pills per day including steroids to recover from this and I’m still experiencing hives. This disrupted my life, cost me hundreds in doctor visits/medication, and I’m having to strip all my laundrey because even the slightest remnant of this detergent reactivated extremely painful itchy hives.
