So convenient and non irritating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so easy to use and store and are non-irritating. They are my go to for sheets and towels so that we can be sure we are allergen free for any guests. Also can’t beat the ease of tossing a pod into the washing machine.

Great for those with sensitive skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My skin is very sensitive so I have to be careful with what I use for just about anything that touches it. I've used several plant based and free and clear detergents in the past with good results. These are no different. I'm not a fan of the pod design, I am always nervous about it not breaking down and ruining my clothes. I'd use this again in a liquid form.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If the pod doesn't break down, it's a rare occurrence, and there are ways to get it off your favorite fabrics. To prevent that from happening, simply don't overload your washing machine, and don't put too many absorbent items in there at once too. Free and clear Cleaning machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a hard work out or just the day to day sweat from this heat. You want to wash your clothes one time and know its clean. These pods are mighty and do just that. They work well on cold water and leave no residue. My clothes smell fresh and clean. No lingering odors when using these pods. The package is great and secure.

Great detergent

I don’t want to pay for the packaging and transportation costs of a liquid detergent that’s full of water. I also don’t want any crazy dyes or perfumes. These pods leave my clothes clean and smelling fresh.

Powerful clean

I really appreciate how I can use one pod and I get all the power clean of Tide, with none of the things that can irritate my families skin thanks to being free and clear. My laundry is clean, fresh and perfume and dye free.

tide is the best

i am 80 years old and I have used tide for most of my marriage which is 64years. l have tried many other detergents. Tide is the best. Because of allergies I always had to rinse twice. With tide free I use a normal rinse...thank you makers of tide!!!!!

Pod melts and leaves plastic on laundry

I have used Tide liquid for years, but decided to try the pods. I've done 2 loads and both came out of the dryer with melted pod residue on the laundry. The first load was assorted dark clothes washed in cold and the second load was a set of king size sheets washed in the lowest warm setting. I put the pod in the drum before the laundry as the instructions said. The internet suggests this can be avoided by using hot water or dissolving the pod in water before adding the clothes. The internet also suggests that I may be able to get the plastic residue out by soaking the items in hot water and washing again. The pods are supposed to be more convenient. This is just more work for me and more water and energy use for a second was to remove the residue. I am very disappointed.

Cons: Satisfaction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

perform many tests to ensure that they will dissolve in your washer as expected.
Thanks for sharing that you put them in before the laundry, as that’s helpful
to know. You could also try choosing a little longer wash cycle, or putting a
slightly smaller load of laundry in next time, to help ensure that the pad gets
exposed to as much water as possible during the wash cycle.
We definitely have some tips to help with the residue, so
please don’t pull the fabric apart, but soak the item as you mentioned,
overnight in the highest temperature allowed by the fabric. The next day you
can rewash it without any detergent, and that should dissolve anything left
behind. We’re here if you need us, so please feel free to call our Tide Team at

Sensitive Skin!

I’ve always struggled with sensitive skin & have spent a LOT of time finding detergent that doesn’t cause a flare up to my skin! These free & gentle tide pods haven’t cause a single flare up! The easiness of throwing in a pod instead of measuring out the liquid when i’m in a rush is such a bonus!!! Will continue buying these.
