I used to use these kinds of labels all the time, but I like the ones with the color strip on the side as they are larger labels for more info, and the color is more prominent. Also, these need a label cover on it to make sure it doesn't fall off my files.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Color-Coding for Organization

I use this label (and a few other colors) to organize the areas of my office. Green is for general files, yellow for one committee's files, and blue for the board files. When I'm looking for a particular folder, I know exactly which color label I'm looking for and I won't mis-file it in the wrong drawer. I can easily print up a batch of labels by date or number by running the sheet though the printer and have them ready when I need them.

These labels were used by predecessor so I though I'd be fair and give them a go. They are excellent. The orange banner makes the topic heading standout for easy retrieval in a file cabinet or box, particularly one that's already jammed!! They cover old labels remarkably well, which makes recycling folders a snap. You can tell that someone on Avery's design team was definitely focused on usability. Thank you for a great small product that makes a big impact.
