[...] The store normally doesn't sell a pack of paper clip in a single box. You have to buy it in bulk in the store. So when I picked up the order (which was already prepaid) the package/box was falling apart [...]. I was fortunate that all the paper clips didn't fall out as I walked out the store...urghh!

They are paper clips. What else is there to say? There are 100 in a box they are the larger size and in some other language than English they are called "trombones" Clips papers together very well. Fun to bend and make little sculptures for your workspace.
