Poor packaging

Why is the 46 oz. size in a jar with depressed bottom and depressed sides? Difficult to get it all out of the jar. Why isn’t it packaged like peanut butter or mayonnaise? Just seems you are trying to fool us into thinking we are getting more than is actually in there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t think my kid would notice the difference between regular applesauce and the no sugar applesauce. She definitely did for some reason I could not get her to eat this one. There isn’t anything wrong with it I only gave it to stars because she wouldn’t eat it otherwise I like the fact that there is no sugar and it’s a healthier option than regular sweetened applesauce. I would still eat this it doesn’t taste two different to me and still has the same great taste.
I would recommend this to a friend!

In this time of attempting to avoid US products, I checked the package to see whether this product is made in Canada with Canadian apples.
The package says "Made with imported ingredients". Which tells me that Motts is concealing the country (or countries) of origin.
If it were made in Canada with Canadian apples, I would certainly buy this regularly. But with the concealment of origin, I will regularly not buy this product;.

Improperly Sealed Lid. Mold on lid and opening

We have bought Mott’s No Sugar Added Applesauce Pouches for quite some time. We have been happy with the product until this purchase. When we grabbed a pouch this morning for our son, we noticed the pouch was not properly sealed. We looked around the lid and the mouthpiece of the pouch. Both of them had mold on them and we believe this is unacceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're a baker who uses applesauce as a substitute for fats in baking this is the one for you! This unseasoned and unsweetened applesauce does not add undesired flavors to your baked goods. The sauce has an fine, uniformly consistent texture -- no unexpected lumps in the batter. The 48 oz size is more than enough to carry you through a weekend of baking -- and if by chance you don't use it all up, you can pop the container in the freezer and pull it out next time you need it.
Some children object that this sauce is not sweet enough -- you can fix that by sprinkling a very small amount of cinnamon sugar across the top of the bowl, or by mixing other fruits into each serving

I like the unsweetened applesauce, however I do not the 46 oz plastic jar. The jar’s irregular shape make it difficult to remove the good applesauce towards the bottom. Bring back nice round glass jars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loves this applesauce. I had no problem getting her to eat and she asked for me. It makes me happy that it’s sugar free and healthier for her. I will be buying sugar free for now on

This is so convenient and I love the taste. Most would think because it is natural that it isn't going to taste very well, well they're wrong it is delicious!
