Cornmeal like substance

I love Mott's Natural Applesauce, but lately each cup I've opened has a yellow cornmeal like substance in it. Is this safe to eat?

We are so glad that Mott’s rose to the challenge and made clear pouches! what a peace of mind to be able to see everything that your little ones are eating without having to compromise the portability and convenience of a to-go pouch. The flavor is still the dependably good Mott’s flavor, always a great choice for applesauce!

I do love the convenience of the pouches, the kids never make messes with them. The taste is fresh and you would never know that there was not any sugar added; my kids sure don't. I couldn't find the organic ones which was disappointing. I love the convenience of just throwing it in a bag and the kids can eat it out of the pouch.
