Drawer should come out more. You can't get a file folder out without hitting the upper drawer so you need to try to turn the file and it messes the file edges up. Manufacturer should make the drawer come out more (easy fix for them). Also the drawer can accommodate Standard and Legals size folders as the drawer has guides built in for both (so you don't need to order a hanging legal frame like I did)!

The drawers all open to full capacity including the file drawer! The top two drawers are a little smaller with height but worth it when they open. We had a small damaged area on the side of the veneer with the compressed wood. We can live with it. It came pretty much assembled except for the rollers on the bottom. We are enjoying having something we can get in and out of. It also has a lock for the files.

This is a beautiful high quality chest of drawers. Unfortunately the soft close sometime prevents the drawers from closing properly.

The box was torn open when I received it through UPS. Our facility Staff refused to put the filing cabinet together until I reviewed the box and the content. They were afraid I would not be able to return it if they opened the box to start the construction and it was damaged. I was on vacation and the Doctor was also on vacation. The Staff had to wait until I returned to approve the item to get started. Lost time on this small project due to quality control on Staples side or UPS' side. I would still order from Staples I just wanted you to know. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of it because your request for a review was much later than receiving the box. i never thought about taking a picture I just wanted to complete the project once I decided the filing cabinet was alright.
