[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these Command Strips as a free sample. They are awesome. I am always looking for ways to hang items in my home without damaging walls with nail holes.
Definitly will be buying alot more Command Products.
I've bought several products by Command. All of them are bad, but this is definitely the worse.

Sorry to hear our products are not working for you. When customers experience this we would ask they call our customer service team directly at 1-800-934-7355 M-F 7am to 6pm CT. We can discuss the application and which product would be best for it. Please know we will e-mail you directly.
I followed the instructions, using more strips than recommended, just to be safe. On a (less than 6pounds) 16x20 frame, I used 4 sets, two on each side. I have used these on something smaller than 8x10 and it worked fine, but for anything larger than 8x10, it doesn't matter how many strips you use. It WILL NOT HOLD. Ironically, I was initially pleased with the result and went to the store to buy more. When I returned, my picture frame had fallen and knocked down other things during the descent. Three of the four sets just did not adhere to the painted plaster (smooth) wall and the 4th set came apart at the velcro connection.
Since the brand new box had slightly longer strips, I thought I'd give them a try in addition to whatever slight stickiness may be salvaged from the fallen frame. I added FOUR more sets, covering the whole back outer edge of the frame (including the old strips from the first attempt). I pressed for almost a minute pushing my forearms into the sides to apply constant pressure on each whole side.
This time, it didn't even last a few minutes. I'm very disappointed and will try to return the newest box (I doubt I have the receipt for the first box and I used 4 sets already on the small frame a few weeks ago).

So sorry to hear of your experience with our picture hanging strips. There is a lot going on here and none of it is something we would expect. For any customer having trouble we would ask they contact our customer service team directly at 1-800-934-7355 M-F 7am to 6pm CT. We would expect all of our products to stay stuck as long as weight limits and surface preparation is followed. Please know we will reach out to you directly to offer assistance.
I just used the medium strips that are supposed to hold 12 pounds for a picture that easily weighs less than 5 pounds. It not only fell off my wall, it ripped the paint and a layer of my wall off my wall! This is not the first time I have used and had issues with these strips. They have come off before when I've used strips that were supposedly supposed to hold more weight than what I've tried putting up. I will not be using these anymore. Never again.

We just Remodeled our living room with real wood paneling. I didn't want to put holes in the walls especially if I decided to move pictures, so I bought the medium strips, these worked great the pictures have stayed on the walls with no damage to the wood. I love these.
