These are general folders that can be used at home or at work. They are sturdy enough for a few files or a lot. I am a teacher and use lots of paper and always need to stay organized. I would recommend this product for general use.

great for carting temporary paperwork

I like being able to write my own titles in the tab and notes to myself on the front of the folder. Notes can be anything from phone numbers to a contact person important dates . Because there are 3 different tabs it is easy to find information and file the folders.It is also easy to transport files. The paperwork easily fits in my suitcase if I need to travel. Or tote bag to take to a meeting. I use them to put ideas for projects (pictures articles etc.) For Tax season it is easy to keep deductions and important paperwork separated but altogether in a larger Folder so everything is easy to find and utilize.the folders help keep me orgaanized...which is not easy....

They're not as thick as a standard file folder but if you're filing away documents and the folder won't see much use these are perfect!
