We previously purchased a box of the muti-colored 3 cut file folders. They 'looked nice' but we were less than pleased with them. They made identification difficult because the color masked the writing on the tabs. Additionally the colors made our file cabinet look like a 'rainbow'. We prefer the manilla folders and will buy them from now on.

Staples Manila File Folders letter 3 t

I use different quality files depending on use. These are perfect for pulling once or twice a month and last the full year. I like the adjustment capability on the bottom for thickness adjustments. I can always read my tabs. I use the heavier files for daily pull needs.
