Beauty was only cover deep

Since the packages of portfolios were sealed in plastic wrap I did not discover the problem until I returned to work. I would have returned the product since the fasteners were all rusty indicating that they probably had set on the shelf way too long but I needed them right away and did not have time to go back to the store. Needless to say I was disappointed that Staples would carry a product of such poor quality.

I use these folders to hold services/presentations. They even have pockets for people to put notes or extra sheets. The different colors allow me to coordinate (Christmas in one color Easter in another etc.).

Rusted Junk

I will never buy anymore. Ever fastener in every folder was rusted. You do not expect to pay money for a new product and find rusted junk. The only reason I did not return them was because I had to go out of state.

Left too long on the shelf?

I was very disappointed with these folders. I buy folders frequently for my business and other presentations. Either they were very old or moisture got into them because all of the fasteners were rusted. Besides the way they looked it was difficult to rotate the closures. I did not have time to return them and find others so I used them but was displeased at the quality of the product. Hopefully this was a one-time problem. I don't know if the problem was with the manufacturer or Staples.

Metal prongs were rusty!

Our group purchases these type of folders often and it was strange how all the metal prongs were rusty. We had to buy several batches of this product and they were all rusted.
