We bought 7 packages of 10 folders each. Out of 70 folders maybe 8 worked as intended. Brads and holes did not line up folders did not close properly tab bindings came out easily. Very disappointed as Staples usually has good quality stock.

Serves the purpose

The paper stock for the cover is nice but the clasps and the inner binding is kind of flimsy. I use these to hold student books for computer classes I teach placing the class workbook in the three-prong center section a business card in the left-side cutout and any collateral pages I have in the regular folder pockets. I buy these in packs of 10 expecting to be able to use 7-8 of them because the center section is flimsy for inserting and using the 40-100 page laser printed double-side pages (20-50 sheets) for my class workbooks.

Several of the folders tore up with brad closures ripping out while putting the first page into the folder!

At least one of the three brads fell off 12-15 folders just when spreading the prongs out. They were just not attached sturdily. Also two of the folders had the brads backwards so that the pockets were at the top of the folder. I will not purchase these folders again in their current state of construction.

Great for presentations!

Like the variety of colors available... the pockets are deeper than other brands we've tried which means papers in them tend to stay in them. We can coordinate the portfolio colors with any photos in our reports... which makes a really sharp presentation.
