Do a Good Job

These folders do a good job. They're actually better than plastic because they don't have hard edges and if you've ever been hurt by hard edged plastic you'll know what I mean! Inside pockets front and rear with flat metal fasteners to hold paper punched with three holes. These folders do what is shown on the front cover. I've bought them before and I've made another purchase now.

All in all a good product. Suits my purpose. If they get wet the color runs. Over time the clips corrode.

I send these folders to clients to store the reports I send them. They are easy to file in and the clips are easy for elderly citizens to manuever.

New Slippery Surface--Unmanageable

I've been buying these folders for more than 20 years for an annual business purpose. In recent years the surface texture has changed from a clothlike paper to a slick substance that makes it impossible to put one on top of the other without it sliding off a desk. I'll be looking elsewhere in 2013.

Cheap

The way the clasps are attached to the cover leaves me expecting seperation. I would prefer that cheap paper not be used but something a little stronger. For one report cover the metal clasp and the hole were not aligned for the bottom clasp indicating inadequate quality control.
