Great shears

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These can cut. ZIP ties(Big thick ones) Para cord, rope, Heavy duty duct tape, seat belt strap. If I had a second pair I think I would attempt to cut a nail. As Medical shears they had no issues with cutting bandages or gauze. These will go into my med kit. But will get a couple more pairs for EDC bag and Bug out bag. Nice strong and lite weight. Will have to find a sheath for them. Great shears.

It's what I need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not an EMT, but I was 40 years ago. These are way better than what I carried back then. I don't have a lot of bandage cutting to do, but these worked great on everything from paper to an old towel. I went with four stars because they are still a bit stiff/tight, though I don't know if they would cut as well if they were looser. Also, being left-handed, scissors often present a problem. If you are right-handed yo do not know what I am talking about, but the southpaws out there do; these work grest snipping with the left hand.

Most Comfortable Shears Ever Used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are without a doubt the most comfortable shears my wife and I have ever used. My wife, a nurse since 1969, states she wishes she had these available to her for her many years of nursing duties instead of her old smooth nurses shears that she used and cursed many times over. She and I could not get over the comfort of the padded thumb & finger holes when cutting through thick materials. We even cut through several pennies in half with no discomfort to either of our hands. The titanium coating must be extremely hard and tough as the shears show absolutely no signs of wear what so ever. After a thorough cleaning, I used the shears to disjoint several chickens and split the breasts prior to cooking. The job could not have been easier. They may not have been originally designed to be used in this manner, but they excelled at every task we put before them. A great design for a great product gentlemen, keep up the good work. From a couple of 70 something year olds, with the attendant arthritis and aches and pains, you have our most profound thanks for such a super product and our newest addition to our kitchen tools.

If you turned a great white shark into scissors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, first impressions: These are LIGHT. So light, that when they showed me they can cut through anything a reasonable pair of shears should be able to with ease, I was very surprised. In fact, they can cut through things that I probably would never use a set of shears for normally. However, when you can chop through leather without thinking twice, well, sometimes you just have to see how deep the rabbit hole goes...
So, in no particular order, some things I cut that you probably shouldn't, but definitely can, with these:
Commercial grade rubberized material
Vinyl canvas cloth
28 gauge galvanized steel (why would you ever normally do this?)
-It could probably even cut 26 gauge, but why would you even try to cut metal...other than morbid curiosity
A kevlar cut resistant glove (its freaking KEVLAR, so it took a bit of doing.)
old stick welding gloves
corrugated plastic (I think it mostly just crushed its way through since its so brittle, but why would you try this anyway? Don't try this at home.)
Thick not-brittle plastic.
So, in no particular order, some things I cut that you probably shouldn't, but definitely can, with these:

Quite frankly, after the kevlar cut resistant glove I just gave up and declared the shears the winner.
They are also surprisingly comfortable. More comfortable than doing all this cutting with my sheet metal snips, which is what I do a lot of this stuff with normally.
These ended up in my tinner's tool bag. I was surprised that cutting the steel didn't jack up the cutting edge. I wouldn't regularly cut metal with them. But, you aren't supposed to, so, no complaints here.
