Unbelievable!

I own a pet sitting Service and really have some incredibly dirty towels/comforters etc to wash on a weekly basis.Prior to using the new Pod product I was pre-spotting with a prewash agent and using a laundry booster as well. Talk about time consuming! Now I just put in my load, throw in a pod and out comes clean every time. we are talking dirty dog prints, mud, even minor grass stains. All without pre-treating. Amazing is all i can say. I am hooked.

Too much scent for me

Cleaning seemed good and I definitely liked the convenience. However, I'm one of those people who prefers an unscented product and when I bought pods, the only ones I could find were scented and they leave a very strong odor on my clothes. I will only buy again if I can find pods that are unscented.

Problem with PODS
on March 30, 2012

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall when the POD is used with a washer with one fill only for the Wash Cycle, the Tide POD does an excellent job - colors are bright, whites are very white.
HOWEVER - when placing a POD in an HE Washer with an electronic load water level system (no low water, medium, High Extra High) the water cycles many times and the POD is washed out the Washer before the actual wash cycle starts.
To get the right amount of soap you have to put the POD in the Washer at the beginning of the Wash Cycle as the auto soap loader overflows when the POD is placed in (POD plugs drain into washer and overflows on floor.
Sorry Great idea but not well thought out.

I am a ridiculously busy mother of three small children enrolled in college full-time. I value my time ( at least what time I can call mine). The Tide Pods are so amazingly simple and clean. I absolutely love them!! Not only do they clean wonderfully, but they also don't create a mess themselves like regular detergent can. Yay pods!!! :)

Pods

Used in HE side washer and it got stuck between the plastic for the door and the bin. Was a complete waist I don't dislike the pod but I definitely don't like HE washers. NOT enough water and clothes still come out dirty. Back to PODS, they can get stuck and your clothes could possible not get clean. Definitely won't help you reduce water if you using HE washer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m sorry the Tide POD was stuck in your washer. It is possible that the pac can migrate to the front of the tub and be pressed up to the door, getting stuck on the gasket. This can occur when the tub turns before the load is fully wetted and the pac has not had a chance to dissolve. It’s fairly rare and normally doesn’t affect the cleaning or the washing machine. This can happen with all unit dose laundry products (detergents & additives) on the market.

The stuck pac can be removed with a paper towel or cloth and the machine door and/or gasket can be wiped clean with water. To prevent this, always make sure you put the pac in the drum before adding the clothes. If you are still having the issue then an easy solution is to gently wrap the pac in a piece of clothing (such as a t-shirt) or even better to pop it into a sock. This will keep the pac mixed in with the clothes as the washer is filling with water. Hope this helps.
