Nice but I want original scent

Typical Detergent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't find anything special about the detergent. My clothes smelled great, but I haven't found that they're any brighter or less stained. I'll probably stick to my regular liquid detergent.

Old dog

I bought the pods because I liked the idea of not measuring and no big containers to recycle....
I have a 15 year old dog....he injured his nose...blood everywhere, in our haste to clean him up I grabbed our white towels...my husband, trying to help threw all the bloody towels and dog bedding into the wash with 1 pod. Then into the dryer. Guess what, not a drop of blood on anything...,for real!
A week later and he still opens the wound, but no problem, into the wash with 1 pod, everything comes out sparkling clean, no pretreating.
Love these thing!

Tide Pods

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these in hopes they would eliminate a lot of laundry liquid mess. They did! Fantastic and I love the way my clothes look and smell. As a wife and mother of four grown boys, laundry can get pretty smelly. It is so easy, even they can do it!

Not Good on Stains

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cleaning ability of the Tide Pod is fair. The softener worked better than most liquid fabric softeners. The stain remover was a disaster. I had 3 stained garments I used as a test. A shirt with a mustard stain; another with a chocolate stain; and another with a dark dirt stain. None of the stains were removed by the stain remover, even though the chocolate and mustard had been pre-treated. So the stain remover needs more power. I rated the stain remover as 1 Star.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm sorry Tide PODS didn’t remove the stain and I’m sharing your comments with the rest of the team. Tide PODS is a detergent and designed to help remove the most common stains. For tough stains we do recommend the Tide Stain Release along with the Tide PODS, but I'm sorry this didn't work either. Please give us a call at (800) 879-8433 and we'll be happy to help!

Nice and Easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the big jugs of the liquid tide and it always creates a mess in my laundry area as it drips down the side and on the the storage area. The pods will eliminate that issue. I just used it on a load and the finished load has a very pleasant smell. The clothing did not have a soapy feel so I know the pod dissolved easily in the wash. The pod makes the loading process faster too since you do not have to pour the liquid or powder detergent. Not sure what the cost is yet but if the cost is about the same as the liquid detergent that I am currently using, I will be switching to the pod asap. Great evolution on the traditional tide detergent P&G.
