Pods do not dissolve!

I used the pods as directed. Pods first then clothes. Plastic stuck to 2 of my work shirts and 2 pairs of socks.

Wee can understand your frustrations with the PODS™ not dissolving, and we’re happy to help. Our PODs™ are designed to dissolve completely in the wash, as long as they’re added to the drum before any laundry, and there’s enough space in the washer for them to move around freely. If there’s a lot of absorbent materials in the machine, they can soak up the excess water needed to dissolve the PODS™. To help remove this residue, we recommend soaking the garment in the hottest water safe for the fabric, the longer the better. Then, rewash the affected items again, this time with no detergent, at the highest temperature safe for the items. So that we can help you further, please give us a call at 800-879-8433.

The last 2 81 ct Pods leaked in the container on the others. Can make a huge mess. May determine my continued use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used tide in the past, but no longer use it. When I saw a commercial for the tide pods I thought it was a genius idea! No mess, easy drop in, etc. However, the same problem happened as in the past. Once in a while, when I do laundry, I forget about it and end up taking it out of the machine the next day. Whenever I use tide, the laundry stinks of a moldy like smell. Other detergents do not do that. I'm not sure why it is so, however it is. I thought that maybe the tide pods were different---they were not. Unfortunately I will not be using tide anymore. Thank you, though, for the sample. I appreciate it very much!

Disappointed

Tide pods turned an entire load of white clothes into blue splotchy clothes. I expected much more from Tide. There was no warning anywhere on the bag to this effect.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience as this is not something we’ve seen in the development of Tide PODS when used as directed. Rewashing the stained garment with your detergent and favorite stain treater should help with stain removal.
Additional Recommendation For Blue Stain Removal: 1. Rinse stain under hot water and remove as much stain as possible 2. Ring out garment and lay flat 3. Apply household rubbing alcohol to stain making sure it covers the entire stain. (Test on similar fabric or inside fold first.) 4. Let the stain soak for at least 10 minutes, the longer the better. 5. Using warm or hot water, rinse the stain and continue to remove as much stain as possible. 6. If full stain has not been removed, repeat steps 1-5.
Hope this helps!

Disappointed

I typically love Tide products but this detergent leaves me very disappointed in the lack of quality that I come to expect from Tide. I recently removed a load of laundry from the dryer, only to find that the pod did not dissolve in the washer like it is expected to do and was instead melted to my pillow cases, which were also discolored! I always wash my clothing in warm water so I am at a loss as to how this could have happened. I was unsuccessful in my many attempts to remove the product... If anyone has any ideas as to how I might be able to get this off, I would very much appreciate your ideas because these pillowcases were not cheap. Very Disappointed!!

Don't use Pods on clothes you care about!

Sometimes the Pods stain the clothes permanently! Before I figured it out they ruined several pieces of my clothing. I finally did a search to see if others had problems like me and found many, so buyer BEWARE!
